Strait of Gibraltar Whale Observation

Our 12-metre long fully electrical and silent catamaran including a hydrophone and 360 degree camera comfortably accommodate eight passengers and can be reserved as a closed booking.

Within this experience, we provide a skilled skipper and knowledgeable guide (if wished) so that everyone can learn and feel the beauty of the ocean and the whales inhabiting the Strait of Gibraltar.

Heading out from Barbate towards Tangier, we are going to look for the Iberian orca whale and dolphin populations (bottlenose, spotted, striped and common dolphins).

After ca. 2.5-3 hours of whale investigation and observation, we will head back and make a stopover either at Playa de los Alemanes or at Cabo de Trafalgar (depending on the wind conditions) where you can relax on the deck, enjoy the beauty of the virgin coastline and take a swim.
After ca. 4 hours, we will then head back to Barbate where you disembark.

Water, refreshing organic drinks and delicious snacks from the local area are included in this experience so that you stay fresh throughout the whole trip.
