Denia Sunset Experience

On board, you will be accompanied by our marine biologist, who will share fascinating knowledge and insights about cetaceans and other marine species. You will also discover why the coast of Dénia is one of the most important areas for fin whale sightings along the Valencian coastline.

Our electric sailing boat, Som Mar, accommodates up to 10 people and is designed to provide an intimate and immersive experience. Onboard equipment includes a 360° camera and a hydrophone, which not only improve wildlife observation but also allow you to listen to the captivating sounds of whales and dolphins, creating a truly special atmosphere.

During the journey, you may encounter a great diversity of marine life. In the Mediterranean, 22 species of cetaceans have been recorded, and among the most commonly sighted are the bottlenose dolphin, striped dolphin, common dolphin, long-finned pilot whale and Risso’s dolphin. The fin whale can also be spotted during its migration towards the Atlantic between March and September, and on its return migration between October and January, with May and June being the months with the highest probability of sightings.

The experience includes fresh fruit and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from local and organic producers. For us, these collaborations go beyond business: they are about sharing values and introducing you to products that truly make a difference.

Committed to marine conservation, our team actively participates in actions such as marine litter collection, assisting injured animals according to official authority protocols, and documenting any aggression or harassment directed at whales, dolphins or other wildlife.
