Departing from Marina El Portet Denia, this 4-hour trip takes you offshore along the stunning Valencian coastline, including the marine reserve of Cabo de San Antonio, where dolphins and whales are occasionally seen.

El Som Mar is a 100% electric sailing boat designed for quiet and environmentally responsible whale and dolphin observation, allowing you to experience marine wildlife without disturbing their natural behaviour.

Species you may encounter

During this journey, you will have the opportunity to encounter a wide variety of marine life. In the Mediterranean, 22 species of cetaceans have been recorded, with six maintaining stable populations: the Bottlenose dolphin, Striped dolphin, Common dolphin, Long-finned pilot whale and Risso’s dolphin.

The Fin whale can also be spotted during its migration towards the Atlantic between March and September, and on its return migration between October and January, with May and June being the peak months for sightings.
