Sotogrande Dolphin Observation
(Private Experience)
Step on board the private WeWhale Sotogrande daytime trip for an unforgettable 2.5 hour journey, as we explore the waters and wildlife off the coast of Sotogrande towards the Strait of Gibraltar.
You’ll get to experience a private dolphin watching adventure for you, your family, and friends, on board ‘Bretema’, our eco-friendly hybrid vessel (the most silent in the Strait of Gibraltar).
‘Bretema’ is equipped with a hydrophone and along with the low freeboard, it provides the best possible impressions while observing dolphins in their natural habitat.
The most commonly seen species on our experiences are Common Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins and Striped Dolphins, and with a little bit of luck, we might even see migrating Fin Whales or Sperm Whales.
Every day is different, sometimes we encounter one species, others we could see up to 3-4 different ones in one day. Thanks to our noise reduced navigation and comfortable boat, you will experience an observation tour in a very special atmosphere.
Our guests are accompanied by an experienced skipper who explains everything about whales and dolphins. In addition, you’ll enjoy a scenic ride with spectacular views to the Rock of Gibraltar (sometimes called the Pillars of Hercules).
